Terms of Sale

1. INTRODUCTION

These terms of sale apply to all purchases of goods from Svalhouse.com (Org. No. 937 573 561) when sold to consumers over the internet. Consumer purchases over the internet are regulated by:

  • The Contracts Act
  • The Consumer Purchases Act
  • The Right of Withdrawal Act
  • The E-commerce Act
  • The Marketing Control Act

These laws provide the consumer with inalienable rights. The terms in these conditions shall not be understood as a limitation of the statutory rights, but rather establish the main rights and obligations of the parties for the transaction.

Buyer:
The person placing the order. If you are under 18 years of age, you may only shop with the consent of a guardian, or pay upon delivery.

 

3. FORMATION OF CONTRACT

The agreement between buyer and seller consists of:

  1. The information the seller provides about the purchase in the ordering solution in the online store (product, quantity, price, delivery terms, etc.).
  2. Any direct correspondence between the parties (e.g., email).
  3. These terms of sale.

Binding order:

  • Your order is binding when it is registered with us.
  • We are bound by the order if it does not deviate from what we offered in the online store.
  • You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after ordering.

 

4. PRICES AND PAYMENT

  • Prices in the online store are incl. value-added tax (VAT).
  • Shipping costs are clearly stated when ordering.

5. DELIVERY

  • Exceptions: Items that for hygienic reasons cannot be returned (e.g., opened products, single-use packaging).
  • You do not need to provide a reason to exercise the right of withdrawal.

How to return:

    • Provide order number, name, and which items you wish to return.
  2. We will send you the return address and, if applicable, a return form (PDF) by email.
  3. Package the item securely (preferably in original packaging) and send it to:

  1. Paid return shipping: You cover the return cost unless the item is defective or there was an incorrect delivery from us.

 

Important

  • The item must be returned in substantially unused condition.
  • Shipping costs from the purchase are not covered upon return (unless there is an error from our side).
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days after we have received and approved the return.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:

  • Goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (e.g., opened products).
  • Goods that are custom-made or tailored to your specific wishes.

 

7. CLAIMS AND WARRANTY

Right to claim:

  • If the item has a defect (error or deviation from the agreement), you can make a claim within 2 years of purchase.

How to make a claim:

  • Describe the defect and, if applicable, send pictures as documentation.
  • We cover return shipping and will send a new item or refund as agreed.
